Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012 – Québec City

Red Bull Crashed Ice

With the summer coming up, we’d like to take a look back at the crazy events that took place last winter.  At the top of my list is the Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012 in Québec City, Canada:

Can you imagine how nuts you’ve got to be to skate downhill in a race course that’s almost like a bobsleighed track … but with bumps!  Pretty nuts indeed, but the cool part is that there were 244 guys that decided to live on the edge and participate in this year’s event.  As always, there were some wicked crashes and rad stunts!

This year’s race was won by Arttu Pihlainen from Finland, who also finished 2nd in the 2012 World Championship.  The winner of this year’s Championship is Kyle Croxall.

Not only is it a great show to watch, but it’s also a great place to listen to loud and awesome music!  As always, many DJs like DJ Darryl rocked the place during the event.

And the best part is always the after party to party all night long!!  And if you’ve ever been to Québec City, you know that the Girls are hot!

I can bet you that during next year’s event, there will be some Boombots onsite to light up the party!  After all, what better to bring to the party than a wireless and loud as &@*% portable speaker!  And although you don’t need it in home sweet SFO, Boombots are not only water resistant and drop tested, they’re also cold resistant!
